Between December 16 and 17, 2011, Tropical Storm Sendong hit Cagayan de Oro City. It left thousands dead and missing and caught everyone by surprise.
Since then the city has tried to get back on its feet and move on. However for those families who are still searching for their love ones, it is a struggle to leave the past behind. Not knowing the fate of their love ones is heartbreaking.
I hope the survivors of Sendong would soon find closure and peace in their hearts so they can once again live their life to the fullest.
