The Imitation Game

The Oscar award winning film "The Imitation Game" was based on the life of Alan Turing,  a British gay mathematician.  As a World War II code breaker he was able to create a machine that eventually lead to the development of computer science and artificial intelligence.  In short, he started the development of the computer.  Despite his great achievements he was persecuted for being gay.
