Low use of condoms blamed on HIV AIDS rise

Filipinos has never been fond of using condoms.  Look at our population right now, Filipinos are giving birth like rabbits.

Condoms do help minimize HIV AIDS infection.  It is a reality that we have to face now in the Philippines.  Filipinos will have to learn soon to use condoms or else we might surpass Thailand in terms of HIV AIDS infections.

Male nurse in CDO dies of AIDS

News has been circulating that a male nurse in Cagayan de Oro recently died of AIDS.  However according to City Hall it is not yet confirmed.

The Cagayan de Oro AIDS Council will convene this April 11 to discuss this issue.

HIV AIDS infection in Cagayan de Oro City alone has already reach more than 20 last year and is expected to increase this year to 40, or a rate of 50% annually.
