Japan Earthquake 1st Anniversary

Exactly one year ago, a magnitude 9 earthquake struck Japan and caused a deadly tsunami.  It wiped out entire communities and left thousands dead or missing.

This incident shocked the entire world and gave us a better understanding of this rare phenomena.

The Philippines is prone to earthquakes yet most Filipinos are not aware what to do when an earthquake or tsunami strikes.  Earthquake drills are important.  Know what to do when these natural disasters occur.  And most of all, earthquakes can not be predicted!  If someone texts you that an earthquake or tsunami is coming, check first with government agencies or websites.  Listen to local radio or TV stations for OFFICIAL bulletins.
