Beware of guys in the mall

Beware of guys you meet in the mall.  Most likely they are "call boys" who will steal from you.

I can confirm that they are now operating in a group with the infamous Mr. Michael Alconera (picture below) training new "call boy" recruits.

Please report these guys to proper authorities.  Better yet report them to the mall authorities so once and for all they would be banned from entering the premises.

You can check Facebook groups dedicated to call boy swindlers and ask for more information about these guys.

I think he was a call boy back then.  I am not sure if he is one of those call boys who swindle gay clients in Cagayan de Oro.  Any updates on this guy?

Cagayan de Oro Gay Swindler strikes again

I saw this guy in Gaisano City last Sunday afternoon.  Beware of him.  Someone again complained in this blog that he was robbed by this person.

If you have been robbed, REPORT IT TO THE POLICE!  If you do not report the incident to the police, these swindlers would keep on swindling other people.

Call boy in Limketkai

For the past weeks I see this call boy (also known to some as Mike or Michael) roaming around Limketkai Mall every afternoon.  As usual he wears a cap and a stripped shirt.

Be careful of this guy as he is known to swindle his clients.  He would offer you a rate of 300 Pesos but after or during sex it becomes 3,000 Pesos.  Since the victims refuse to file criminal charges against him, he remains free to victimize other gay people.

 

Male Prostitution

In a news clip featured by Umagang Kay Ganda in ABS-CBN, a guy named "Jay" was among those arrested during an anti-criminality drive in Caloocan City, Metro Manila.  Jay basically earns around 500 to 1,000 Pesos a day being a male escort in the streets of Caloocan.   He was forced to go into prostitution because he had to feed his siblings since their parents passed away.  He also claims that he uses a condom to protect himself from diseases. 

His story is a sad one and I sympathize with him.  As the sole bread winner in the family he has to do something for his family to survive.  Stories like these are heartbreaking.  However for some of these male prostitutes, it is a different story.  In Cagayan de Oro, most male prostitutes are swindlers and thieves.  How can you sympathize to their plight if all they do is rob you?

Again, let me reiterate my stand on this issue.  I do not encourage prostitution but reality bites.  Some people has no choice but to use what they have to survive.  Now, I have no problems with prostitutes as long as they provide the correct service as agreed upon.  As long as both parties including the client (ang bayot), respect each others right.  The problem with some gay clients, they are a bit aggressive and sometimes deceitful.  Respect begets respect.  You won't get respect if you do not respect others.

How to Detect Online Dating Fraud

Good day! A warning to social networking media users (GayRomeo, Facebook and others).  Be careful who you meet or date online.  Several people have already complained of fraud or being swindled by people they met in Cagayan de Oro City.

Here are some tips to follow:

1. When meeting someone online, check their Facebook account or if not see each other through webcam. Today, most people have Facebook or webcams, so if that person does not have one, that is a warning sign.

2. If the person wants to meet with you immediately in your hotel room or apartment, that is a warning sign. Meet this person first in a public area or through webcam. If you do not like the person you are meeting, you can easily leave the place or simply turn off the webcam.

3. If you bring these strangers to your hotel room or apartment/home, make sure the hotel has a CCTV camera and the guy should register or surrender an ID to the hotel receptionist. Better yet, leave your valuables with the hotel receptionist for safe keeping and instruct them never to give it to anyone except you. Take a photo of the guy using your phone and send it to friends. Never go with these guys alone in your home. Always make sure someone is at home with you.

4. If the profile photo is not the same with the actual person you meet, that is a warning sign. Make an excuse and leave immediately.

5. If someone asks you for a night out with his so called "friends and cousins", that is a warning sign. You might end up paying all of the drinks and even more. Sometimes you go out in a date, only to find out that his "cousin" will join you later. If this happens, make an excuse and leave!

6. When in a motel, if the guy insists that you take a shower first, this is a warning sign. This is an opportunity for the swindler to take your belongings and your clothes! If you shower, take your clothes with you inside the bathroom and lock the door.

A Call Boys Complaint

A call boy posted a comment in this blog complaining that they were being belittled.  Naka minus mi ug call boy?  Please READ the original article of "Cagayan de Oro Call Boys, then and now".   Unsa man ang mga call boy sa una kompara karon dinhi sa Cagayan de Oro?  Sa una, walay problema makig storya sa call boy.  Kung unsay gi sabutan mao ang tumanon.  Ang call boy karon? Ang gi sabutan 500, paghuman iyot nahimo nag 5,000!?  Unsa na? Kada kiyod naay interest?  Bakak bani akong gi pang ingon dinhi?  Kung bakak ni, ngano DAGHAN ga pang reklamo nga gi pang-ilad sila? 

Naa pay uban nga WALAY GI SABUTAN nga kwarta kay trip lang daw mag gay sex....pag human sa iyot, nangayo na ang lalake ug kwarta kay iyang fee!  Unsa may tawag ana nga modus?  Di bana pangilad?  The person was expecting a casual free sex but the guy asked money afterwards.

I do not hate all call boys.  Why would I hate them all?  Kung naay call boy dinhi nga maayo mo serbisyo, I would welcome you and show you the same respect I give to other descent people.  Pero kung ilad ra inyong tumong, diha gyud ta magbunggo.

This is my challenge to all call boys in Cagayan de Oro....do the right thing!  Kung naa moy kaila nga call boy nga gapangilad ra sa iyang client....badlonga!  Kay kanang iyang pangilad, makadaot na sa inyong panginabuhian.  Kinsa pa man mu hire ug call boy kung magduha duha ang tao ninyo?  Do not blame us, kay kamo ray ga daot sa inyong kaugalingon.

It is unfortunately that most victims of these swindlers are too embarrassed to report it to the police.

I just wanna let you know that one of my friends is a victim of these swindlers a month ago w/c is the reason i enroll to gayromeo.com site to see the callboy who victimize him...

to be framed up and to be jailed...

Now I asked a friend to communicate with this person in Planet Romeo.  Unfortunately it did not went as planned.  My friend immediately told the guy that everyone online knows of his swindling activities.  So after that message, the guy deleted his profile....nag paila gyud nga GUILTY!  Guilty pa kay Corona! 

Here is his photo.  According to the complainant, this is his real photo and he has a tattoo on his arm.  If anyone knows this guy, post a message here.

Prostitutes/Call boys in Cagayan de Oro

To be honest, I have nothing against call boys or prostitutes per se.  Panginabuhi mana nila, that is their way of providing for themselves.  However if their means of livelihood is through swindling or theft, dinha nata magbungo!  Prostitution is already illegal in the Philippines, ngano dugangan paman nimo imong illegal nga panginabuhi ug lain pang illegal nga butang?

If only call boys provide good services, sakto ang pangayo ug sabot, we would not reach this point.  Again, respect begets respect.  Both parties should show respect to each other and that includes the client.

I still believe that there are good and decent call boys in Cagayan de Oro.  Ang problema lang, asa na ni sila?  Any ideas?  As long as this issue continues,  I will not stop talking about this in the blog.

And by the way, sex with minors is a NO! NO!  Katong hilig ug mga high school boys?  This is where I draw the line.  NEVER ever have sex with them because it is against the law.  To have sex with someone below 18 years old is considered as statutory rape, with consent or without consent.  Remember that CDO Policeman who was caught in a motel with high school girls?  Gatago tago na ang pulis patola.  Follow the law to avoid complications.

Call Boys asking forgiveness?

I noticed this GayRomeo profile named PASAYLOA_kami. When I started reading the profile, I was a bit surprised.  Here is what was written in the profile :

"Pasayloa kami ninyo kung ugaling ilad sa inyong panan-aw.  Tawo ra gihapon kami.  Lipayon mo namo pero dapat magbayad sad mo.  Please don't plame (blame) our group of we give pleasure for money!"

(English translation) "Forgive us if you all think we are swindlers.  We are only human.  We can make you "happy" but you have to pay up.  Please do not blame our group since we provide pleasure for money!"

This clear shows that these call boys have already formed a group and has become a criminal syndicate.  That is why I do not recommend people to patronize call boys in CDO until this issue is resolved.

As for forgiveness....if there is no justice, there is no forgiveness!  Unsa panan-aw ninyo sa mga bayot?  martyr?  This blog will continue informing people about these swindling activities until justice is served!
