FINALLY!  I was doing some room cleaning and found the password for DiscreetBai Facebook account.  I forgot everything including the email add and username.  I used a different email address and username for the DiscreetBai account.

DiscreetBai nearing 1,000,000 page views

Wow, it just hit me that within this week over a million people would have viewed this blog since 2011.

Hmmmm there should be some changes to the blog to commemorate this event.

I am really sorry for not updating the blog for the past weeks.  Aside from my problem with the internet (changed internet provider), I have been so busy lately.

Anyway thanks for supporting my blog!

1,000th Blog Post

Today marks the 1,000th blog post of Discreet Bai!  It has been a challenge for me to keep this blog updated through the years.  Luckily I have managed the impossible!  

Right now I am quite busy with work and the only time I can work on my blog is late at night.

Finally! I was able to get back the DiscreetBai Facebook web address. Someone beat me to the web address.  I am not sure why the web address was available but I guess the account was terminated.

DiscreetBai Blog hits 500,000 views

It was like yesterday when DiscreetBai blog hit the 100,000 mark a year ago.  Now half a million or 500,000 views later.

Reaching this mark is a challenge.  Trying to research and provide information can be challenging considering I am quite busy myself.

To everyone, thank you for your support.  Hopefully this blog will still be around for its 1 millionth view?

I have been looking for a webcam chat format for DiscreetBai in the past years and finally I found one.  You can now chat with friends on cam, face-to-face.

Use of www.discreetbai.com

There is still a problem with the domain name of DiscreetBai.com.  To access this blog properly you need to use "www" or www.discreetbai.com.  Simply typing discreetbai.com will no longer point you to this blog.  I hope this problem is temporary and would be resolved soon by Google.

DiscreetBai.com is BACK!

This weekend was terrible.  I could not make the DiscreetBai domain name work.  I don't know what happened, it suddenly stopped working.  Thankfully the web host technician was able to assist me in my problem.  Salamat!  Back to business once again.  By the way, you have to type www. so you can access the blog (www.discreetbai.com)

DiscreetBai Pages Unavailable

I tried accessing some pages of the blog and it is not available.  I am not sure why.  The contents are there but it could not be accessed publicly.   Anyway just try visiting the pages the next day.

DiscreetBai Blog 1st Anniversary

A year has already passed.  It was like yesterday that I first registered this blog in the name of DiscreetCDO and later changed it to DiscreetBai.com. (http://www.discreetbai.com/2011/10/discreetbaicom.html).

I was hesitant at first to create a blog.  Maintaining a blog has some challenges. You have to read and do some research or else you have nothing to talk about in your blog.  It also takes away some of your precious time.   May lang unta mao kini akong career.

What really convinced me to blog was when DiscreetBai Forum in Webs.com was deleted.  It was a big set back for me.  Instead of crying and feeling helpless of what happened, I went back to the computer and looked for alternative sites.  

One thing I have learned through the years is NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.  As one door closes, another opens.  You just need to persevere.  Maningkamot ka gyud.  Walay makuha nimo kung di ka mosukol ug maningkamot sa imong kaugalingon.  So here I am today, blogging from Cagayan de Oro City and to the world!  If DiscreetBai Forums was not deleted, I would not be blogging today and setting up DiscreetBai.com.

So, to all who have supported and hated this blog.....You complete me! :)  Thank you!

DiscreetBai Advocacy

Some people still ask me, do you have AIDS?  Are you a victim of gay swindling?  My answer to this is NO and NO.   You do not have to be a victim of swindling or be infected with HIV AIDS to be vocal on these issues.  So why do I care about these issues?

According to the Department of Health over 90% of the current HIV AIDS infection in the Philippines was due to sexual contact, mostly men having sex with men (MSM).  This will greatly affect the LGBT (Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community in which we are all part of it.  Sooner or later you will know someone infected by this virus and it will hit you hard.  Haya ka na dayon maka huna-huna bahin sa HIV AIDS kung imong kaila nagkasakit na aning kagaw.  Why wait for the disease to knock on your doorstep?  That is why we have to fight this disease together, by being responsible enough to practice safe sex.  Care for each other!  Do not spread the disease!


The issue on gay swindling has been going on for several years now.  I have my encounters with call boys before but at that time they were still respectful and honest.  Karon na unsa naman ni sila?  What happened?  I was already alarmed when every month I would hear people complain about these guys.  In fact, if I would estimate the number of people who complained in the old DiscreetBai Forum, GayRomeo and here in DiscreetBai.com it might reach around 50 people and more are still complaining.  This has to stop!  It will not only affect the LGBT community but the image of the City of Cagayan de Oro.  We are becoming known as a city of swindlers!  The City of Golden Swindlers!  Gusto ba ninyo nga ang Kagayanon mailahan nga swindler?  I have lived most of my life in Cagayan de Oro and I love the city so much that I do not want a small group of swindlers destroying the city's image.


I hope people following DiscreetBai.com would take up my advocacy against HIV AIDS and gay swindling in Cagayan de Oro.  I am only but one person, imagine if we all do our part in this community.  Together we can solve these problems!

 

Back from Vacation

I was on vacation last week and was not able to check the blog for a couple of days.  I already set the blog to post articles on specified days but it did not work!  I am not sure what happened.  Kadaghan ba ug issue aning blogspot.  Anyway I am back so hopefully I could correct this problem soon.
