Transgender candidate in the Philippines
Geraldine Roman of Bataan may become the first transgender representative in the Philippine Congress.
She has been a transgender since the 1990's and has an impressive resume. She speaks 3 European languages, worked in a Spanish News Agency and has 2 masters degree. Also being part of a political dynasty in her province helped her a lot.
If elected in office, she will push for the passage of the Anti-Discrimination Bill that has languished in Congress for the past 16 years.

Black dressed shoes
I finally bought my first black dressed shoes. It was a bit expensive, costing around 3,800 Pesos.
I bought it from Hush Puppies. It was the only decent black dressed shoes I could find. I did not want my shoes to look complicated.
Dressed shoes are important for formal or business casual attire.
This shoes were not made for walking. It was uncomfortable after 15 minutes of walking. I think I am going to buy a footsole to make it more comfortable.
For next time, I plan to buy a dark brown dressed shoes. This would pair well with my brown or khaki pants.
