Do you trust your boyfriend? How well do you trust your boyfriend? This has always been an issue in gay relationships.
Trust has to be earned not bought. Some people use their money to gain someones trust. In short, playing the Sugar Daddy role. Maguindanao Massacre
The Maguindanao Massacre is considered the single deadliest event for journalists in history. Around 34 journalists died in that massacre. This should never happen again.

Sometimes I see myself as a journalist, who is trying to expose or report to the gay community in Cagayan de Oro what these call boy swindlers are doing to us. In fact, some of these swindlers have already threatened me here in the blog.

2. If the person you meet online wants to meet with you immediately in your hotel room or apartment, that is a warning sign. Meet this person first in a public area or through webcam. If you do not like the person you are meeting, you can make an excuse and leave the place or simply turn off the webcam.
3. If you bring these strangers to your hotel room or apartment/home, make sure the hotel has a CCTV camera and the guy should register or surrender an ID to the hotel receptionist. Better yet, leave your valuables with the hotel receptionist for safe keeping and instruct them never to give it to anyone except you. Take a photo of the guy using your phone and send it to friends. If at home, make sure someone is at home to assist you in case of emergencies.
4. Gay swindlers are now in social networking sites. If the profile photo is not the same with the actual person you meet, that is a warning sign. Make an excuse and leave immediately. Do not anymore entertain them.

Male Prostitution
In a news clip featured by Umagang Kay Ganda in ABS-CBN, a guy named "Jay" was among those arrested during an anti-criminality drive in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. Jay basically earns around 500 to 1,000 Pesos a day being a male escort in the streets of Caloocan. He was forced to go into prostitution because he had to feed his siblings since their parents passed away. He also claims that he uses a condom to protect himself from diseases.
His story is a sad one and I sympathize with him. As the sole bread winner in the family he has to do something for his family to survive. Stories like these are heartbreaking. However for some of these male prostitutes, it is a different story. In Cagayan de Oro, most male prostitutes are swindlers and thieves. How can you sympathize to their plight if all they do is rob you?
Again, let me reiterate my stand on this issue. I do not encourage prostitution but reality bites. Some people has no choice but to use what they have to survive. Now, I have no problems with prostitutes as long as they provide the correct service as agreed upon. As long as both parties including the client (ang bayot), respect each others right. The problem with some gay clients, they are a bit aggressive and sometimes deceitful. Respect begets respect. You won't get respect if you do not respect others.

Congrats to Mr. June Macasaet for winning the title Mr. Manhunt International 2012. This is the year of the Filipino Men. Just recently a transgender representative of the Philippines won the Ms. International Queen title also held in Thailand.

Congrats to the Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Team
The Philippine Volcanoes won the bronze medal in the HSBC Asian Rugby Sevens Series Singapore Sevens last Saturday. This is a milestone for the Philippines national rugby team. Rugby is a relatively new sport in the Philippines as it is barely played or known around the country.
Hopefully interest in rugby would spread around the country and produce more locally trained talent. As of the moment, all of the members of the Philippine Volcanoes are half breed Filipinos or mestizos.
Last year, people got to know more about the rugby team not because of the sport but due to the controversial Bench underwear billboards that showed most of the rugby team in sexy underwear.
