Embarrassed buying a condom

I was in Watsons yesterday and noticed the sales lady complaining that a pack of condom was opened and a condom was missing.  I found this amusing.

Are we that embarrassed to buy a condom that we steal them instead?

If you are too embarrassed to buy one, go to a small pharmacy instead in malls or big pharmacies.

Mr. Iron Man Classic 2014

The last Mr. Iron Man bodybuilding competition was held at Gaisano Mall 4th floor food court.  That was years ago.  Luckily I was able to watch the recent Mr. Iron Man competition.

Condom law affects porn industry in Los Angeles, USA

The basic purpose of the Condom Law was to require all male porn actors to wear condoms during filming.  This was to prevent the spread of HIV AIDS and other sexually transmitted infection in the porn industry.

Since its implementation in 2012, production of porn in the Los Angeles area has dropped dramatically.  It is said to affect 10,000 jobs and 6 Billion Dollars worth of revenues.

According to porn producers, actors are not comfortable using condoms and fans don't like it either. The consumers or fans simply wants raw sex.

Before the implementation of the Condom Law, actors undergo rigid HIV testing and other measures were in place to prevent the spread of infections.  However some actors in recent years contracted HIV AIDS.

Some productions are now being moved outside LA and even abroad.

A police officer in a male pageant? PNP officer Mariano Flormata Jr or also known as Neil Perez has joined the Misters of the Philippines male pageant.  

If only most of our police officers in the Philippines would look like him or at least has a physique like him.

Ginoong Kadayawan 2014

Happy Kadayawan to Davao!  They recently held the Ginoong Kadayawan or also known as the Prince of the Festival bodybuilding competition.  Some of the competitors came as far as General Santos, Bukidnon and even CDO.  Not sure who were from CDO but I was able to identify one person from Bukidnon.  I will feature him soon.

An Australian company is developing a new condom that may be able to kill sexually transmitted infections including HIV AIDS.

How does it work?  The condom is coated with VivaGel which contains antimicrobial drug that can reduce the risk of STDs and HIV AIDS.

It is not a 100% guarantee but at least it reduces significantly the risk of infection.

Ken Chan's indecent proposal

3rd Gay Pride parade in Vietnam

Homosexuality in Vietnam is still taboo.  That fact that the Vietnamese government allowed this Gay Pride parade to happen is an indication that they are slowly being tolerant of the LGBT community.

Most Asian countries still consider homosexuality as taboo or forbidden.  In Singapore and Malaysia, sodomy or anal sex is punishable by law.  

The Philippines and Thailand are I guess the only countries in Asia that tolerates the LGBT community.
