Job Fair at SM City CDO

There is a Job Fair at SM City this coming May 1, 2013.  Job seekers are advised to bring several copies of their resume (if you plan to apply with several companies), photos (1x1 and 2x2 colored) and of course a writing pen.  Most importantly you should wear business attire.

Business attire for guys is wearing a long sleeved polo shirt or if you feel uncomfortable, a short sleeved polo shirt, dark pants and black leather shoes.  You have to pair your polo with a neck tie if possible.

UAE actor evicted from Saudi Festival for being too "handsome"

Omar Borkan al Gala, a UAE actor, was one of the men from UAE who were supposedly evicted from a recent culture festival in Saudi Arabia. They were accused of being so handsome they might tempt Arab women.  Mesmerizing.....love those eyes and the lips....

French Senate approves Same Sex Marriage

The French Senate finally approves a law allowing Same Sex Marriage or Gay marriage.  Weeks ago conservatives who were against the law clashed with police.

Someone posted in the Chatroom box that two call boys in Gaisano Mall was arrested.  Can anyone authenticate this information?  However I will try to do some research to verify this information.

Last time someone said that one of the call boys mentioned in this blog was arrested however no other information was given to back up the story.  Ato ning klarohon.

Hot Hot Summer

Feeling the warm weather?  PAGASA and DOH are advising people to avoid excessive sun exposure that might cause heat stroke.  Drink enough water and stay under the shade.  Health drinks like Gatorade or Propel can re-hydrate you and keep your internal body temperature cool.  Buko juice is also a good and cheap alternative to keep yourself cool and hydrated.  

If you can not avoid going under the sun, apply some sun block or sun screens.  Use a sunblock with at least SPF 30.  The higher the SPF number the better.  However before applying on a sunblock, dab a small portion on your skin to check for allergic reactions.  There are hypo-allergenic sunblocks you can use.

Gay Swindlers in Cagayan de Oro City

Let me emphasize this, I am not a victim of these swindlers.  I am here to warn people of these gay swindlers in Cagayan de Oro who have been preying on helpless gay people in the city for several years now.  

Most if not all of call boys or male escorts in Cagayan de Oro are swindlers.  Some of these swindlers are not even call boys.  You can find them in social networking sites like Facebook and others.  They would first befriend you and after they gain your trust, they would then rob you of your valuables.

If you are the type of person who patronize call boys, my advise to you is to take photos of these guy and send the photos to your friends.  If you go somewhere else, bring another trusted friend with you.  Do not allow the guy to bring another person with him.   Mu uban daw iyang ig-agaw ug amigo.  That cousin or friend might be an accomplice to the swindler.  Go to motels with CCTV camera, so you can ask for the video afterwards if you get swindled.  Better yet, leave your valuables with the motel receptionist and get it afterwards.  Never bring these guys to your apartment or home unless you are sure that someone in your home can help you when you need assistance.

Until someone fights back and report them to the police, these gay swindlers will keep on victimizing gay people in the city.

Here in the Philippines, there are some known gay destinations like Puerto Galera in Mindoro, Malate in Manila, Metro Cebu (including cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Mactan Island) and others.
