I just wanna let you know that one of my friends is a victim of these swindlers a month ago w/c is the reason i enroll to gayromeo.com site to see the callboy who victimize him... 

his ID is 122685. you can search it. he is in a mask with tattoo. He is a hold upper...

Please spread and let this guy, who use a name EDWIN EDUAVE, 

to be framed up and to be jailed...

Now I asked a friend to communicate with this person in Planet Romeo.  Unfortunately it did not went as planned.  My friend immediately told the guy that everyone online knows of his swindling activities.  So after that message, the guy deleted his profile....nag paila gyud nga GUILTY!  Guilty pa kay Corona! 

Here is his photo.  According to the complainant, this is his real photo and he has a tattoo on his arm.  If anyone knows this guy, post a message here.

HIV AIDS in Cagayan de Oro City

In past years, there has been a sudden increase of HIV-AIDS cases in the Philippines, most of which was through male-to-male sex.  The Department of Health has already declared an AIDS epidemic outbreak in the Philippines including Cagayan de Oro City.

For the first time in decades, the HIV-AIDS case in Cagayan de Oro City has reached double digits.  Here are the full statistics in the past years:

2008 - 6 cases

2009 - 9 cases

2010 - 14 cases
 2011 - 27 cases

Based on the statistics, the rate of the viral infection is at Fifty (50) percent annually.  If we follow this trend, in 2012, the HIV-AIDS cases in the city will reach close to 55 and by 2013 there will be over a 100 people in CDO with HIV-AIDS. 

If you are from Cagayan de Oro City, call the AIDS Hotline number (8822-area code) 72-1189.  This is a service by the City Health Office of Cagayan  de Oro.  They will entertain your questions without malice.  If they do insult or embarrass you in anyway, call the attention of the City Health Officers and report such incident.  These people are supposed to assist you in anyway.

Man with HIV donating blood in CDO

A man infected with HIV has been donating blood all over Cagayan de Oro City.  What is more alarming, this person is donating blood every month to the National Red Cross Blood Bank. 

Based on records, this person has been using fictitious personal information and could not be tracked down.

The City Council has already requested the assistance of the police and NBI to track down this person immediately as he is a health hazard to the city.

Prostitutes/Call boys in Cagayan de Oro

To be honest, I have nothing against call boys or prostitutes per se.  Panginabuhi mana nila, that is their way of providing for themselves.  However if their means of livelihood is through swindling or theft, dinha nata magbungo!  Prostitution is already illegal in the Philippines, ngano dugangan paman nimo imong illegal nga panginabuhi ug lain pang illegal nga butang?

If only call boys provide good services, sakto ang pangayo ug sabot, we would not reach this point.  Again, respect begets respect.  Both parties should show respect to each other and that includes the client.

I still believe that there are good and decent call boys in Cagayan de Oro.  Ang problema lang, asa na ni sila?  Any ideas?  As long as this issue continues,  I will not stop talking about this in the blog.

And by the way, sex with minors is a NO! NO!  Katong hilig ug mga high school boys?  This is where I draw the line.  NEVER ever have sex with them because it is against the law.  To have sex with someone below 18 years old is considered as statutory rape, with consent or without consent.  Remember that CDO Policeman who was caught in a motel with high school girls?  Gatago tago na ang pulis patola.  Follow the law to avoid complications.

Marvel Comics "Astonishing X-Men" No. 51 features two X-Men male characters in a same-sex wedding.  This new issue of X-Men comics is creating so much buzz just after US President Obama declared his support for same-sex marriage.  Kudos to Marvel Comics for their support of gay marriage and LGBT rights.

This was shared to me in Facebook and I find it witty and funny.  The video is all about online dating and relationships.

One thing that I agree the most in this video is the issue on profile photographs.  If you are looking for a "serious" relationship online, why post profile photos of yourself almost naked or shirtless?  Unless you are living in a nudist colony or you could not afford to buy a shirt, then change your photos.  It gives the impression that you want to have more sex than having a relationship.

1st Koresco Super Body 2012

Congrats to Patrick Jose Chua and Jolorosa Bargamento for winning respectively Mr. and Ms. Koresco Super Body 2012 held at Hotel Koresco last May 18.  There were a lot of familiar faces.  Some of the male candidates also took part of the defunct male pageant, Man of Himologan (Mr. Cagayan de Oro).

Gay Swindlers in Cagayan de Oro City

Warning people of gay swindlers in Cagayan de Oro.  Most if not all of call boys or male escorts in Cagayan de Oro are swindlers.  Some are now posing as "trippers" or straight guys (you find them in malls and even online) looking for sex but actually they would ask money from you as much as 3,000 Pesos.  If you can not pay their "fee", they would then ask for your cellphone and other valuables.  Gi ilad ka lang.  Pagpangawat gyud ang tuyo nila sa imo.

Advising gay people who patronize call boys to take their photos and send the photos to your friends.  Better yet get some company.  Go to motels with CCTV camera, so you can ask for the video if you get swindled.  Never bring them to your apartment or homes unless you are sure that someone in your home can help you.

It is unfortunately that most victims of these swindlers are too embarrassed to report it to the police.

Until someone fights back and report them to the police, these gay swindlers will keep on victimizing gay people in the city.

Religious groups protest Lady Gaga Philippine concert

Religious groups are calling Lady Gaga a devil worshiper and should not be idolized by people.  These are the same things they called Madonna when she sang "Like a Prayer".   Now, Madonna is a beloved recording artist in the world!


We should welcome these artists to show that the Philippines is a free and tolerant society.

Sex education to avoid unwanted pregnancy

Monsignor Monsanto of the Jesus Nazareno Parish Church in Cagayan de Oro attributed the arise of teenage pregnancy to the break down of moral values in the Philippines.  Yes, I partly agree with Monsignor on this issue but it is not the main cause. 

In an interview, some teenagers were asked, what do you know about sex?  They replied "wala", it was not discussed by their parents or their school.  I myself was able to interview a teenage guy online and asked him about his knowledge of sex.  When he started talking about sex, it was like a 6 year old kid talking about unicorns and rainbows.  It was an eye opener.

Information is important and it has to be the right information.  When I asked the teenager where he got his information about sex, he said it came from his teenage friends.  So it was like children talking among themselves because adults refuse to talk to them.

That is why we need sex education in schools and it should be accompanied with values formation.  If parents can not talk about sex, then schools should come in and provide that knowledge.  Kay kung dili, mao lagi ning mahitabo, daghan buros ug daghan naay HIV AIDS kay di kibalo unsay buhaton.

Manny Pacquiao Homophobic?

Manny Pacquiao is in hot water recently for making "anti-gay" statements.  He apparently quoted a biblical passage and insisted that gay marriage is a sin.  Pacquiao apparently reacted to the statement of President Obama declaring his support for gay marriage in the US.  Pacquiao denies he is anti-gay but he believes that gay marriage is a sin.  Some of Pacquiao's major sponsors have already pulled out because of this issue.  My message to Manny Pacquiao is simple, concentrate on boxing!  Stop being a politician and a pastor!   You keep on complaining of distractions yet you allow yourself to be used by other people!

FDA panel backs first pill to block HIV infection

HIV cure has gone a long way.  More HIV+ people are now getting needed medical care.  However HIV care is still quite expensive.  In the US, you spend around 1,000 US Dollars or 43,000 Pesos a month for HIV medicines.  In the Philippines, it might cost more because of taxes.

So if you earn more than 50,000 Pesos a month, then you can probably afford to be more reckless in your sexual activities but if you earn like a minimum wage, then think twice of your actions.

Some people still ask me, do you have AIDS?  Are you a victim of gay swindling?  My answer to this is NO and NO.   You do not have to be a victim of swindling or be infected with HIV AIDS to be vocal on these issues.  So why do I care about these issues?

According to the Department of Health over 90% of the current HIV AIDS infection in the Philippines was due to sexual contact, mostly men having sex with men (MSM).  This will greatly affect the LGBT (Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community in which we are all part of it.  Sooner or later you will know someone infected by this virus and it will hit you hard.  Haya ka na dayon maka huna-huna bahin sa HIV AIDS kung imong kaila nagkasakit na aning kagaw.  Why wait for the disease to knock on your doorstep?  That is why we have to fight this disease together, by being responsible enough to practice safe sex.  Care for each other!  Do not spread the disease!


The issue on gay swindling has been going on for several years now.  I have my encounters with call boys before but at that time they were still respectful and honest.  Karon na unsa naman ni sila?  What happened?  I was already alarmed when every month I would hear people complain about these guys.  In fact, if I would estimate the number of people who complained in the old DiscreetBai Forum, GayRomeo and here in DiscreetBai.com it might reach around 50 people and more are still complaining.  This has to stop!  It will not only affect the LGBT community but the image of the City of Cagayan de Oro.  We are becoming known as a city of swindlers!  The City of Golden Swindlers!  Gusto ba ninyo nga ang Kagayanon mailahan nga swindler?  I have lived most of my life in Cagayan de Oro and I love the city so much that I do not want a small group of swindlers destroying the city's image.


I hope people following DiscreetBai.com would take up my advocacy against HIV AIDS and gay swindling in Cagayan de Oro.  I am only but one person, imagine if we all do our part in this community.  Together we can solve these problems!

Call Boys asking forgiveness?

I noticed this GayRomeo profile named PASAYLOA_kami. When I started reading the profile, I was a bit surprised.  Here is what was written in the profile :

"Pasayloa kami ninyo kung ugaling ilad sa inyong panan-aw.  Tawo ra gihapon kami.  Lipayon mo namo pero dapat magbayad sad mo.  Please don't plame (blame) our group of we give pleasure for money!"

(English translation) "Forgive us if you all think we are swindlers.  We are only human.  We can make you "happy" but you have to pay up.  Please do not blame our group since we provide pleasure for money!"

This clear shows that these call boys have already formed a group and has become a criminal syndicate.  That is why I do not recommend people to patronize call boys in CDO until this issue is resolved.

As for forgiveness....if there is no justice, there is no forgiveness!  Unsa panan-aw ninyo sa mga bayot?  martyr?  This blog will continue informing people about these swindling activities until justice is served!

"Gay" doctor in Bacolod killed by Facebook pals

When I read the headline, "Bacolod doctor killed by Facebook pals", I immediately suspected that it was another gay hate crime.

The story goes that the "gay" doctor meet the guys in Facebook.  They decided to go back to the doctors house for a drink.  According to the suspects, the doctor pointed a kitchen knife on one of the suspects and tried to "rape" him.  Fortunately neighbors were able to hear the cries of the doctor and were able to catch the suspects.

Lesson for the day?  NEVER bring guys home!  Especially if more than one.

If we had Mike the notorious call boy, we now have the notorious Ronald, the PlanetRomeo (GayRomeo) gay swindler!  He has been changing profiles for the past months.  First time someone informed me that he was a swindler, his ID name was ronn1985_26, then later on jay_jay26 and recently sian_26.  And if you read his profile description, very similar to his previous profile.  What is insulting to his victims, he does not even attempt to hide his real face.  Ana na gyud sya ka confident nga di sya madakpan....

Flores de Mayo

I miss the Flores de Mayo.  I am not sure why we are no longer doing this May tradition in Cagayan de Oro.  It showcases our lovely ladies and of course men in their terno and barong.  May is heritage month and we should try to preserve and enhance our cultural heritage.  Di ingon nga karaan na, ato nalang ilabay.  Besides, this will also give an opportunity to our local designers to create more Filipino inspired clothing.

Two gay guys were waiting for a jeep in Carmen at around 2:30 am, when a motorcycle suddenly stopped in front of them and declared a hold up.  Not being satisfied, one of the robbers took a stone and smashed it on the victims head.

There was also another robbing incident a few days ago with a similar modus operandi.

HIV AIDS in Cagayan de Oro City

In past years, there has been a sudden increase of HIV-AIDS cases in the Philippines, most of which was through male-to-male sex.  The Department of Health has already declared an AIDS epidemic outbreak in the Philippines including Cagayan de Oro City.

For the first time in decades, the HIV-AIDS case in Cagayan de Oro City has reached double digits.  Here are the full statistics in the past years:

2008 - 6 cases

2009 - 9 cases

2010 - 14 cases
 2011 - 27 cases

Based on the statistics, the rate of the viral infection is at Fifty (50) percent annually.  If we follow this trend, in 2012, the HIV-AIDS cases in the city will reach close to 55 and by 2013 there will be over a 100 people in CDO with HIV-AIDS. 

If you are from Cagayan de Oro City, call the AIDS Hotline number (8822-area code) 72-1189.  This is a service by the City Health Office of Cagayan  de Oro.  They will entertain your questions without malice.  If they do insult or embarrass you in anyway, call the attention of the City Health Officers and report such incident.  These people are supposed to assist you in anyway.

Gay Swindlers in Cagayan de Oro City

Warning people of gay swindlers in Cagayan de Oro.  Most if not all of call boys or male escorts in Cagayan de Oro are swindlers.  Some are now posing as "trippers" or straight guys (you find them in malls and even online) looking for sex but after the sexual act they would ask for money in the thousands of Pesos.


Advising gay people who patronize call boys to take their photos and send the photos to your friends.  Better yet let your friend accompany you.  Go to motels with CCTV camera, so you can ask for the video if you get swindled.

It is unfortunately that most victims of these swindlers are too embarrassed to report it to the police.

Until someone fights back and report them to the police, these gay swindlers will keep on victimizing gay people in the city.
