Whoever wins the competition will then compete with Mr. International 2012 in Thailand on November 13 to 14 this year.
There are two representatives in Northern Mindanao. Mr. Juancho Pascual will represent Cagayan de Oro City and Mr. Jessie Bayudang of Iligan City.

HIV AIDS in Cagayan de Oro City

past years, there has been a sudden increase of HIV-AIDS cases in the
Philippines, most of which was through male-to-male sex. The Department
of Health has already declared an AIDS epidemic outbreak in the Philippines including Cagayan de Oro City.
For the first time in decades, the HIV-AIDS case in Cagayan de Oro City has reached double digits. Here are the full statistics in the past years:

2010 - 14 cases

Based on the statistics, the rate of the
viral infection is at Fifty (50) percent annually. If we follow this
trend, in 2012, the HIV-AIDS
cases in the city will reach close to 55 and by 2013 there will be over a
100 people in CDO with HIV-AIDS.
If you are from Cagayan de Oro City, call the AIDS Hotline number (8822-area code) 72-1189. This is a service by the City Health Office of Cagayan de Oro. They will entertain your questions without malice. If they do insult or embarrass you in anyway, call the attention of the City Health Officers and report such incident. These people are supposed to assist you in anyway.
