Aceh Province in Indonesia recently passed a law punishing anyone engaging in gay sex with 100 lashes of the cane or imprisonment. This law is applicable to both locals and foreigners. Gay sex in Indonesia is not illegal but being gay in a conservative Muslim country is a challenge.
