Mr. PJ Pagalan wins Barangay Gwapo 2013

Congrats to Mr. PJ Pagalan of Bulua for winning the title Barangay Gwapo 2013.  1st runner up was Michael Cheshire, a British-Filipino guy who by the way has the hottest body amongst the bunch.

The pageant was held at Capitol University Gymnasium.

Once again the search is on for the next Barangay Gwapo of Cagayan de Oro City.  Best of luck to all of the contestants.

Barangay Gwapo 2013 Auditions

The search for Barangay Gwapo 2013 is on.  Last Saturday ABS-CBN held their Barangay Gwapo auditions in Centrio Mall Activity Center.

Congratulations to Barangay Gwapo 2012 Alvin Magpulong of Barangay Bugo.

Karl Mueco of Barangay 13 is 1st runner up, Dan Linaac is 2nd runner up, Don Quimbo of Nazareth is 3rd runner up, while Francis Luperte of Consolacion is 4th Runner Up.

I would have liked to see Don Quimbo of Nazareth winning the title.  Among the guys, he has the best body....as in yummy!  Will post some of his half naked photos next time.

Introducing the remaining 5 gwapos of MOR's Barangay Gwapo 2012.  This male pageant is part of the fiesta celebration of Cagayan de Oro.  However do not expect a swimwear competition.  A great disappointment to gay fans.

Barangay Gwapo 2011 Winner

Finally found some information on who won the Barangay Gwapo 2011.  Well, I don't really care but for those who might be interested, the winner is Ahmad Papandayan of Barangay Lumbia.  He is a student of Xavier University.  Which reminds me, Happy Eid ul Fitr to all Muslims!

ABS-CBN Kapamilya organized the search for Barangay Gwapo 2011 in Cagayan de Oro City.  These guys represent the different Barangays in the city.  Sorry gals and gays, no swimsuit event.  The pageant is more on the personality aspect compared to defunct male pageant Man of Himologan.  The finals night will be held in Capitol University Gym on August 20, 2011.  Admission is free.  You can check out their website at http://barangaygwapo.weebly.com
