On November 24,
1991, Freddie Mercury the lead singer of the British band, Queen died
due to bronchopneumonia and AIDS. He was known for song hits such as
"We are the Champion", "Bohemian Rhapsody" and others. In the height of
his career (1970's), people were already aware of his bisexuality. Despite this knowledge, his fans both
straight and gay supported him. His songs are now considered as classic rock hits.
