The double look back has been a tried and tested flirting scheme used by gay people when cruising for guys in the streets.
If you see a cute guy walking towards you....
1. Make eye contact. Try to connect with him through your eyes.
2. Keep your glance and lock eyes with him
3. Instead of dropping your eyes, keep glancing at him until you pass him
4. Slow your walking pace and look back over your shoulder, glance at the person.
5. If the guy does the same then you've got him
6. Slowly turn around and stop or walk towards him and start a conversation
It takes practice and finesse to perfect the double look back. Again it has to be smooth and playful.
