According to the United Nations, the Philippines is amongst the 9 countries in the world where HIV AIDS cases are increasing.
In Cagayan de Oro alone, we already have 88 cases in 2013. In 2008 it started with 6 cases, 2009 at 9 cases, 2010 at 14 cases, 2011 at 27 cases and last year 2012 at 52 cases. This is just the reported cases. Some might already have the infection but does not know it.

Naay testing sa CDO Medical Center, Polymedic Hospital ug sa Provincial Hospital. But I think it is best sa Provincial or Northern Mindanao Medical Center ka pa testing kay naa didto ang HIV AIDS Center for Northern Mindanao. Dili lang ko sure but I think the testing in the Provincial Hospital is free. Just ask. Sa mga hospitals naay bayad.
Free magpa voluntary HIV test every friday (for walk-ins)starting 8am - 5pm sa Social Hygiene Clinic, City Health. Sa Cagayan de Oro Medical it cost 675 for rapid HIV testing, they also have ELISA test worth 1700. If you can afford, sa medical ka else sa City Health.
