If you hear the terms twink or bear in the gay culture it basically describes ones body frame. In the Visayan term, it can be loosely translated to niwang, balbon ug daku-on.
A twink is a guy that is young or young looking (between ages 18-23), few or no body hair (smooth) and has a lean body frame (thin looking).
A bear is the opposite of a twink. Bears are usually matured looking, with body hair (including facial hair) and has a stocky to sometimes heavy body frame. If you are young and hairy, you can be considered as a young bear or simply a cub.
