Starting April 8, 2014 (US Time), Microsoft will stop technical support for the Windows XP operating system.
Computers currently using Windows XP will continue to operate however security updates will no longer be available and computers running the old system might be vulnerable to security threats.
According to the Yahoo News Article, over 30% of computers world wide still uses Window XP. In fact most ATM's around the world are using Windows XP.
Windows XP is the most popular operating system launched by Microsoft.
If you plan to upgrade your operating system, I suggest you get Windows 7. Windows Vista is the worst and Windows 8 has still a lot of issues.
