The Philippine Volcanoes became popular not because of their sport but for their controversial Bench Underwear billboard ad in Manila. They posed in their undies to raise awareness of their sport.and they got what they wanted. Again, kung dili lang mga tisoy, dili giyud panumbalingon sa mga tao. A good example of this is the Philippine Dragon Boat Team. Despite winning gold medals and breaking records abroad, no one would care to notice them because all of them are of pure Pinoy blood. I just hope Filipinos would recognize a sport not because of the athletes physical appearance but because of the talent. I will post more photos of these guys next week.
